Just a good match for a weekend vacation in Edinburgh with all in all brilliant value for money. The staff were friendly and really helpful, and the breakfast spread offered something for everyone. If you're traveling with a pet, this place is wonderfully dog-friendly.

Charming and cozy stay in a great spot
I loved my stay! The walk to Old Town was perfect for exploring. My room, though small, had a comfy bed and all the essentials packed in. Jean-Pierre was super helpful—he carried my bags and had breakfast ready before 7 am. Only thing is, the shared bathroom could be a bit tricky if it gets busy.

We had a lovely stay at this charming house! The spacious family ensuite room was perfect for us and our precious dog. Enjoying breakfast while gazing at the garden was a highlight, just as lovely as our hike through The Dene's beautiful trails.
In my wife's opinion, having a play area for kids would be great.

had a great stay at denne guest house! everything was so organized n i loved how friendly the staff were. the breakfast had a really good selection, fresh fruit, hot food, n all that. the area felt safe n it was a nice quiet place to rest after a day of exploring. also, the room was clean and comfy with a lovely view of the gardens.
but the mattress was way too firm for my liking n the bathroom could've been a bit more updated.

Had a great group vacation with friends! We hit up the Botanical Gardens and explored the nearby area. For £72, the buffet breakfast was solid, with plenty of options. The room may be compact, but it had everything we needed. Perfect value for an overnight stay.
The room faced a main road, which made for a noisy night. I could have used a better night's sleep.

clean shared bathrooms, comfortable basic room, convenient location
The outdated design of the bathrooms could really benefit from a makeover!!! The limited modern amenities left much to be desired, especially for longer stays!!!
